Pay: $160,000 - $180,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director of Product Operations to help scale a high-growth SaaS product organization. This role will serve as the operational backbone of Product, ensuring alignment between product investments, cross-functional execution, launch readiness, and measurable business outcomes.

Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing leadership, you will establish the processes, governance, reporting, and communication structures that enable teams to move efficiently while delivering meaningful value to customers. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building scalable operational systems, and excels at turning strategy into execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate release planning across multiple product lines and platforms.
  • Develop scalable launch processes, readiness criteria, and post-release evaluation frameworks.
  • Establish operating rhythms, governance practices, decision-making processes, and escalation paths across the Product organization.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to improve planning, prioritization, and execution effectiveness.
  • Introduce and optimize operational tools, reporting capabilities, and AI-enabled workflows that improve decision-making and productivity.
  • Build and maintain performance scorecards that connect product initiatives to business outcomes such as customer retention, revenue growth, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor product investments and measure expected versus actual business impact.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Product leadership to support investment planning and portfolio prioritization.
  • Create executive-level reporting and dashboards that provide clear visibility into organizational performance.
  • Lead communication efforts around product priorities, launches, roadmap updates, and organizational decisions.
  • Ensure Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Support teams are prepared for upcoming releases and changes.
  • Identify gaps in cross-functional execution and implement scalable solutions that improve collaboration and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, Business Operations, Product Management, or a related discipline within a software organization.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, and customer-facing teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies and operational best practices.
  • Experience creating KPI frameworks, operational dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect product initiatives with business objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using tools such as Excel, SQL, business intelligence platforms, or similar reporting solutions.
  • Experience with operational and product development tools including Jira, Confluence, or comparable platforms.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Computer Science, Product Management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a multi-product or multi-platform SaaS environment.
  • Background supporting enterprise software, vertical SaaS, EdTech, or related technology markets.
  • Experience building Product Operations functions, governance models, or operational processes from the ground up.
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership on portfolio management, investment planning, and business strategy.
  • Exposure to AI-powered products, AI-assisted development practices, or organizations actively adopting AI technologies.
